Functional Movement Screening

Move Better, Feel Better

An FMS program will help you to:

  • Run your first race

  • Improve sport performance

  • Prevent injuries

  • Improve your posture

  • Decrease muscle and joint pain

  • Gain better stability and balance

How it works:

  1. You participate in a movement screen by a certified personal trainer. This screen tests for mobility and stability.
  2. The trainer will identify weaknesses and imbalances throughout your body.
  3. A corrective exercise plan is developed and planned for you to complete with or without a certified trainer.
  4. Work through the corrective and simple functional exercises four times a week for five weeks.
  5. Meet with your trainer to complete the FMS again and continue to correct problem areas.
  6. Experience greater movement efficiency, improved functional and athletic performance, and a decreased risk of injury!
