Member Rules & Regulations
Healthworks strives to create an environment that allows our members to
enjoy the facilities in comfort. We ask that everyone adhere to the rules
and regulations for the safety of our facilities, our staff, and most of
all, our members. If you have any questions please contact to a manager
at your club.
RESPECT FOR OTHER MEMBERS AND FACILITIES
We request that all members and guests obey a general code of civility and
respect the rights of others to enjoy the facilities. Such rights include
but are not limited to health, safety, and privacy. We ask that all
members and guests use their best efforts to care for the equipment and
facilities. The club reserves the right to revoke any membership if a
member fails to obey all Healthworks membership rules and regulations as
supplied in your New Member Package.
CELL PHONES & CAMERA PHONES
For the privacy and safety of all members, cell phone use is allowed only
in the front lobby/Cafe area. Healthworks strongly prohibits the use of
cell phones in any other area of the club. Camera phones may not be used
in the club.
EXCESSIVE EXERCISE
Healthworks reserves the right to obtain medical clearance if we believe
that a member or a guest may be in danger from excessive exercise.
DAY SPA
Members who have or think they may have the following medical conditions
should not use the Day Spa:
· Pregnant (or potentially pregnant) or nursing
· High blood pressure
· Open cuts or sores
· Taking medication
· Any medical condition
If you have any medical conditions and are taking medication, consult your
doctor about using the whirlpool, sauna, or steam room. Please review the
posted guidelines before using the Day Spa facilities. Please shower with
soap and rinse well before using the whirlpool. Long hair must be tied up
or in a bathing cap. No hair coloring, soaps, oils, or glass bottles are
allowed in the Day Spa. Shaving anywhere but the shower area is
prohibited. If members do not follow these rules, we reserve the right to
prohibit them from using the whirlpool, sauna, and steam room.
MEDICAL CLEARANCES
We strongly recommend that you receive permission from your physician
before commencing any exercise program. The staff at Healthworks is not
qualified to give medical advice.
SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES
CHANGE IN MEDICAL STATUS
It is the member's responsibility to inform the club Fitness Director of
any change in health or medical status during her membership term.
SOLICITATION
The club's facilities and services are provided for the enjoyment of its
members and may not be utilized to promote special interests or requests
without the permission of the management.
