Workshops

Healthworks Education Institute is a continuing education program with a curriculum designed specifically for personal trainers, group exercise instructors and fitness professionals. HEI features seminars, lectures, and events with the mission to educate our staff and community, while obtaining Continuing Education Credits from various local and national experts.

Earning CECs and attending classes at HEI will show your clients that you care about helping them improve the quality of their lives. By expanding the foundation of your education with recent research and specialty training, you will increase your job satisfaction, knowledge & skill level, and marketability.

 

Current Classes

Urban Rebounding Basic Instructor Training

This four hour course will teach you science and research behind the Urban Rebounding workout, the unique features of the equipment and the challenges involved in using the product. Learn the basic Urban Rebounding movements and postures, as well as many programming ideas to use with clients and students for months to come.

Urban Rebounding Box and Bounce Workshop

Box and Bounce is all the boxing you love without the impact to your joints. Take the upper body postures of boxing and kickboxing and add the lower body postures of the Urban Rebounding Core Moves to make a powerful cardiovascular challenge!

Community CPR/AED Course

This four-hour course will teach you how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardio arrest and choking.

Child/Infant CPR Course

This four-hour course will teach you how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies in infants and children.

Healthworks Fundamentals (Employees Only)

All Healthworks Employees are required to attend Healthworks Fundamentals, a  presentation which covers the company history, philosophy, and how to be champions of service. Please speak to your manager for dates & information.
