ONLINE RESERVATIONS

I understand that online reservations are recommended in advance for my club visits and required for all HWX Outdoor Classes. If I choose to go to the clubs without a reservation, I understand that reservations may be fully booked and that I may need to wait or go back at a later time. I will adhere to the start and end time for these visits.

Cleaning and Sanitizing

What are your disinfecting procedures and products?

While we have always prioritized cleanliness, we have sourced advanced hospitalgrade cleaners, airPHX technology, disinfectants and equipment and train our teams in the proper usage.

All team members will continually clean and disinfect while in the club.  All high touch areas will be disinfected hourly and every surface in the club will be disinfected twice daily.

All disinfecting products are medicalgrade and are shown effective in EPA listings related to COVID and other viruses.  We will also be rolling out electrostatic back-pack sprayers. An electrostatically charged mist allows us to completely and safely reach all surfaces, including many-shaped objects and hard to reach locations with hospital-grade disinfectant.

We have designed our gym schedule allowing a full hour of closure from 1:00-2:00 PM for a thorough mid-day cleaning.

We ask that all members disinfect equipment after each use. Staff will be available to help and educate members on proper disinfection. We are also providing extra sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer.

All staff have completed our enhanced staff training to ensure they understand the cleaning expectations and have knowledge around all products used in our clubs.

We have replaced standard hand dryers with paper towel stations in all available bathrooms.

Full list of products

Group Fitness Equipment

Our team will be disinfecting all Group Fitness Equipment between each class to ensure the safest possible class.  To facilitate this, we will be requiring all members to sign up for classes in advance and will be scheduling a minimum 30-minute gap between classes.

Hand Sanitizer

We have sourced a large quantity of 70% and 80% Ethyl Alcohol hand sanitizer above and beyond the CDC’s guidelines of 60%.  Members and Staff will be required to use sanitizer dispensers when entering the club and are encouraged to use it regularly.

Disinfectant Wipes

Members are asked to disinfect equipment before and after each use with our supplied disinfectant wipes.  Our wipes are EPA approved and a proven “one step” disinfectant cleaner which is effective in the presence of 5% serum contamination.

Air Quality

How are you improving air quality with airPHX?

Safety is always our number one priority. It is so important to us to continue to find new innovations and procedures to help keep you and our team safe from COVID-19. We are pleased to announce we have invested in AirPHX technology for our clubs to improve air quality and reduce the risk of respiratory droplet transmissions. This technology will be installed at all clubs early next week. AirPHX guarantees that coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is killed in the air and on surfaces. We are continuing to go above and beyond the state mandated guidelines to keep you safe.

AirPHX® Units

  • Continually take in ambient air and create powerful disinfecting agents that kill viruses in the air and on surfaces and neutralize pathogens even deep in surfaces.
  • OSHA compliant and not harmful to humans.
  • Proprietary technology is highly effective in protecting against coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
  • Validated for reductions in surface viruses and antibiotic resistant bacteria in 30 minutes on surfaces with corresponding reductions in airborn organisms.

How else are you managing air quality?

Before reopening, we changed all filters and increased outside air to the maximum available quantity.

Personal Training

Are all personal trainers returning to the club upon reopening?

Please check with your trainer to see if they are taking sessions in the club. Currently, not all trainers have returned to the club. All trainers will continue to take clients remotely with select trainers also offering outdoor and mobile training options. If you would like to be paired with a trainer, please email [email protected]

How should I schedule my personal training appointment?

Please reach out to your trainer directly to book your personal training sessions. If you are interested in working with a trainer but are not sure which trainer is the best fit, please email us at [email protected] and will have someone contact you to schedule a session.

What will be different about my personal training sessions at the club?

Physical distancing is important to keep all of us safe during the session. Your session will be reserved to one location in the club, the trainer will be standing outside of your strength training box for the duration on the workout coaching you from 6 feet away. They will provide you with instructions for all exercises verbally and may demonstrate when necessary. They will assist you in getting any equipment needed for your workout and instruct you on when and how to wipe it down to aid with disinfecting.

We know you have missed seeing your trainer but ask that you show them your excitement through the workout instead of physical contact.

Can I continue to do my personal training from home?

We understand that not all clients or trainers are ready to come back and train in our clubs. We are giving trainers the option to continue to train their clients remotely or outdoors at this time. Please communicate with your trainer on this.

Can I still do my personal training sessions in the club if my trainer is still working remotely?

Some of you may want to diversify or intensify your workout using equipment we have in the club. If you would like to visit our clubs and perform your remote training session here, please do the following:

  • Communicate with your trainer that you will be visiting the club for the session. Some clubs have tri-pods available for members to use with their phone to conduct the virtual session.  Please see the fitness staff on duty for a tripod or bring your own to be sure you have one! If you want to be sure there is a tripod available, please email your club fitness director.
  • Reserve a Gym-Time Strength session that coincides with your session time. If no Gym-Time Strength reservation coincides with your session time, this option will not be available to you at this time.
  • Once Gym-Time Strength is reserved, arrive in your mask and head to an available strength box with the tripod provided.
  • Begin a Skype/Zoom/FaceTime session using your phone and enjoy your workout!

Do I need to reserve a Gym Time at the club when I have a personal training session booked?

For in-club personal trainer sessions (client and trainer both present in the club), you do not need to reserve a Gym Time session. The session your trainer booked will be your reservation to the club.

If you book a personal training session remotely, it does not give you access to the club.  Please reserve Gym Time  on our app or website in order to access the club for a scheduled reservation.

If you wish to do cardio before or after your schedule personal training session, please be sure to book an additional Gym Time spot.
