Showers are now available at Cambridge, Chestnut Hill and Coolidge Corner per the State’s updated Phase 3 Step 1 guidelines. Due to Boston’s roll back to Phase 2, showers will be unavailable at Back Bay from December 16-January 6.
To allow for safe, physical distancing, some showers will be closed ensuring that everyone is 6 feet apart. Available and unavailable showers will be clearly marked. Masks must be worn at all times in our clubs and can only be removed when showering.
Bath towels will only be available for members who are showering and we will have limited, designated areas for clean and used towels.
Our team will be disinfecting our showers and wet area multiple times throughout the day and we’ve also replaced all shower products.
Additional hand sanitizers will be placed in the wet areas and small spray bottles of Airx will be available for members looking to disinfect their shower stalls before and after use.
We ask that one person enters and exits the wet area at a time.
Steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools are currently in Phase 4 of the state’s plan and we will be waiting for approval and more guidance before opening these areas. Wet areas will be open exclusively for showering-only.
