We are committed to ensuring the highest safety standards for our members and our team with a clean, safe and vaccinated environment. In doing so, we need your help. Below are a few additions to our Club Policies that we ask you to accept and follow when you visit the club.
Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required for everyone entering our clubs — members, staff and guests.
We feel this is the best way we can continue to protect the health and safety of those around us.
Members may show must proof of vaccination when checking into the club or you can email proof to [email protected].
As with many other businesses, we are short-staffed so please bare with us as we process these requests. When emailing, please include your agreement number (starts with 48) or barcode to speed up our processing of the requests.
The following are acceptable forms of verification:
Please note that you must show proof of being fully vaccinated. At this time, the CDC does not require boosters for a “fully vaccinated” status, but we strongly encourage getting this third shot to protect yourself and others.
No, members will only need to provide proof of vaccination once and we will record that you are vaccinated in our member management system.
If you prefer us not record your vaccination status, please show it each time you enter the club and ask the staff member not to record it.
We encourage everyone to get vaccinated and boosted as directed by their primary care physician. This is the best way for you to keep yourself, your family and our community safe.
For those that cannot get vaccinated, choose not to show proof of vaccination or choose not get vaccinated you can enjoy your programs remotely via our HWX Digital studio and are welcome to participate in our outdoor classes or personal training sessions.
We ask that you to please reconsider. The COVID vaccines are safe and effective at preventing serious complications from this deadly pandemic. Furthermore, if you are not vaccinated, regardless of Boston rulings, we are continuing to require vaccines at our clubs to protect the health and safety of our members and staff.
If you are not going to get vaccinated, please consider freezing your membership. This will allow you to stay connected with the Healthworks community through live classes on HWX Digital Studio and join us for outdoor classes when they resume this spring. You may request a freeze online.
We’d hate to see you go, but if you choose to cancel, you can submit a cancel request online. Please select “Will not get COVID Vaccine” as the reason for your cancelation.

While we have always prioritized cleanliness, we have sourced advanced hospital–grade cleaners and airPHX technology for use in our clubs. We will continue to use electrostatic spray cleaning and have wipes provided throughout the clubs, and ask that all members use them to wipe down equipment and class props after each use.
Hand sanitizer can be found throughout the clubs.
Members are asked to disinfect equipment after each use with our supplied disinfectant wipes. Our wipes are EPA approved and a proven “one step” disinfectant cleaner which is effective in the presence of 5% serum contamination.
We have invested in AirPHX technology at all our clubs to improve air quality and reduce the risk of respiratory droplet transmissions.

Our clubs were designed to have high air turn over at all times. In addition, we regularly change our air filters and increased outside air to the maximum available quantity.
In addition, in all message rooms we have rolled out Molekule Air Pro air purifiers.

This number varies from club to club, as we continue to limit our capacities, but this will be steadily increasing slowly over time.
We are excited to introduce our new and improved member app to streamline the reservation process and allow easier access to all HWX Class formats. This is the quickest and easiest way to reserve a workout slot at our clubs. The reservation window for your spot begins 48 hours in advance. Be sure to reserve ahead of time, and cancel as soon as possible if something arises.
Please note that we will be charging a $10 no-show for HWX Classes as space is limited. If you sign up for a class in advance and are unable to make it, please drop the class no later than 4 hours prior.
We are able to provide you with a one-time pass to visit before you join. Please email us at [email protected] if you have any questions. Additional passes are available for purchase, if desired.
We ask that you abide by our mask and remember that masks must be worn above the nose and mouth. As of 1/15/22, proof of vaccination will also be required.

While our HWX Outdoor Classes are predominately attended by women, all of these classes are coed and open to ALL Healthworks Group members, which includes our coed clubs, Republic Fitness and GymIt, as well as guests.

Class capacity remain limited to ensure appropriate physical distancing. We ask each member to stay in their designated workout area during each class. We will be slowly increasing our class capacities throughout the summer.
To ensure appropriate space, we recommend you register for classes in advance through our website or app.
To ensure availability for others, we ask that you cancel your class bookings the same way you enrolled, either in the App or online in the schedule, no later than 4 hours prior to the start of class. You will be charged a $10 fee if you no-show a class in the club.

All special COVID-related membership freezes and support memberships ended in July 2021. If you are still unable or not ready to return to the club for whatever reason, we have a variety of freeze options to choose from.
