3 Ways to Reconnect to Your Fitness Goals

Sometimes life happens. A stressful day at work or an indulgent weekend becomes the pattern and our fitness goals seem to fall by the wayside. If you’ve lost sight of your commitment to a healthy lifestyle, this summer is the perfect time to refocus.
Here are a few tips to get you back on track and ready to hit it harder than ever:
1. Avoid the All-or-Nothing Mentality
There is a difference between falling off the wagon and treating yourself. An occasional treat can actually help you feel satisfied and stay on track. Concentrate on the healthy choices you’re making and remember consistency in eating healthy and working out is more important than being perfect.
2. Go Green
Instead of subtracting from your diet, try adding in more fruits and vegetables. Longer days and warmer weather means seasonal fruits and vegetables are more readily available. Not only does eating in-season produce mean higher nutritional value but it will also save you money on groceries. 3. When in Doubt, Work It Out
Get up and go! Working out may be the last thing you feel like doing, especially if it’s been a while but getting that good sweat in will remind you how much your body needs to move. Set your alarm for that 6:00am class or grab a friend and commit to meeting at the gym after work.
Need just a little more motivation to get to the gym? Our summer program, Workout & Win runs from June 20th – July 27th. The more you workout the better your chances are of winning great prizes!
