NICK L

CERTIFICATIONS
ACE Certified Personal Trainer (2013)
Weight Management (2015)
American Red Cross CPR/AED Certified

Areas Of Expertise :: Helping individuals whom are new to fitness, work towards adapting a healthier lifestyle. I help people get accustomed to an exercise routine and keep them motivated to better their own fitness. I am a catalyst for your progress and push you to reach personal goals.

Training Philosophy :: There is always going to be barriers when it comes to improving your own lifestyle; someone who truly wants to reach their goals won’t let those stop them. There will always be a reason to quit, but quitting won’t get you what you want. That’s why you always need to push forward!

Personal Accomplishments :: Having struggled with being an obese child and adolescent, I personally worked on becoming knowledgeable about nutrition and exercise. After some time and some results, exercise became a passion; it became something I wanted to help others do. After working towards my goals for several years, I was able to lose close to 100 pounds, and gain a unique perspective that is applicable to my practices as a trainer today.

JESSICA B

Personal Trainer

Education and Certifications :: NASM CPT

Areas Of Expertise :: Form
Strength Training
Full Body Circuits
Fundamentals

Training Philosophy :: Having been a gym novice just a few short years ago I want to share what I have learned here, that we can all do more than we think we can. Anyone at any age and any level of fitness is capable of making change.

From sedentary to active, from injured to moving again, from nervous about the gym to clear focus each session. No matter the starting point, no matter the perceived setbacks, my aim is to help you set and achieve your own personal goals.

Interests/Hobbies :: powerlifter, former ice hockey player, camping

Client Testimonial :: ``She is passionate, focused, dedicated, and fun—all at the same time. She really took the session into consideration, tailored it to my needs and was thoughtful in her planning.``

Personal Accomplishments :: My personal fitness journey is my greatest accomplishment. Starting out trying to lose weight, I discovered a love of fitness, powerlifting specifically, and ended up with a new career. Along that road I lost 40lbs of fat, replaced it with muscle, and have learned to listen to and respect my body.

_
Areas of expertise:
Corrective Exercise Specialist, Post-rehab strength training, injury prevention, posture correction, core stability and balance

_
Training Philosophy:
Strength progressions can only be safely achieved if muscle imbalances and postural distortions are corrected first. In the years that I have been training I have yet to meet anyone who is 100% free from imbalances; therefore, it is imperative that one is aware of their posture and learns how everyday life contributes to the stress placed on the body. Through a structured core and posture improvement program, one can be sure that they will not only prevent injury and get stronger, but will learn more about their body than they have ever been aware of.
