Insurance Savings

Many health insurance companies offer rebates for their members towards health club memberships. To request receipts and contracts for insurance rebates, log into the member portal.

Step 1: Log into the member portal.

Step 2: Go to My Account.

Step 3: See the left side navigation for Payment History.

 

If you need a copy of your contract:

Step 1: go to My agreement Information on the left side navigation

Step 2: Click on Documents

Step 3: “Previous Motionsoft Document” is a copy of your contact from  our old system.

BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD

Your Fitness Benefit could save your family up to $300 per year in health club membership dues or exercise class fees. You can claim your $50 – $300 Fitness Benefit once you’ve belonged to a health club and have been a BCBSMA member for at least four months (in a calendar year) if your company has added this benefit to your plan. HARVARD PILGRIM

If you’re a member of Harvard Pilgrim, and belong to a qualified health and fitness club for four consecutive months, and Harvard Pilgrim will reimburse up to $150 for you or your dependents covered under your plan. Click here for more information!

TUFTS HEALTH PLAN

Just complete at least four consecutive months of membership in Tufts Health Plan and at a qualified fitness center. Submit the Fitness Rebate Form, along with proof of fitness center membership and proof of payment, and Tufts Health Plan will reimburse up to $150 of your fitness club fees for the year. EXERCISE RX TAX DEDUCTION

Are you working out because your doctor prescribed exercise for a specific health issue? If so, you will be happy to know that your physician-prescribed exercise program can now be considered a tax-deductible “qualified medical expense” by the IRS. Please ask a club manager for more details.

We’d be happy to provide you receipts for your insurance reimbursement or tax deduction. To request receipts and contracts for insurance rebates, please email us and include your first and last name, your agreement number and the date range for your request.
